Goranson Farm

Agritourism Farm

Goranson Farm is a second- and third-generation, certified organic, widely diversified vegetable farm. Since 1991, we have offered the original Free Choice CSA program that spans 26 weeks from May to October. We also have a winter CSA program from November to April. We bring everything we grow to 5 summer markets (Wednesdays in Portland, Saturdays in Boothbay, Damariscotta, Bath, and Portland), and in the winter switch to 3 Saturday markets (Bath, Brunswick, and Portland.) Our farmstand is open seasonally through Thanksgiving.

We grow a huge diversity of organic produce year-round, including fresh greens, asparagus, heirloom tomatoes, strawberries, sweet potatoes, and more. Rob and our sons have made our famous wood-fired maple syrup for more than 40 years. We also sell locally produced fruit, bread, cheese, eggs, meat, and other products. Along with a fleet of antique IH tractors, our farm is powered by our amazing local year-round employees, our solar array, and a team of draft horses.

This farm accepts eWIC but may not at all locations. Please confirm in advance.

Please contact or check the member’s website or social media for the most up-to-date hours, location, and information.

Agritourism Activities

We welcome everyone to visit our organic family farm and share a day to celebrate spring together. Maine Maple Sunday at Goranson Farm is an exciting, vibrant, community and family-focused all-day event with live music, maple sundaes, sleigh rides, hot drinks, homemade baked treats, farm animals, sugar house tours, and more. We offer farm tours, school and bus tours, have restrooms, and limited wheelchair accessibility. Please visit our website and social media for more info!
