A Guided Pollinator Walk during King Bloom

Join us during one of the most beautiful times of year in an apple orchard during the king bloom when all of the trees are blossoming. During this afternoon walk, we will hear from local ecologist Deb Perkins about native pollinators and their habitat as we take a walk along the apple trees and forest.
$10 donation per participant the day of the event helping us bring this wonderful educational event to Poland Maine.
Rain date: Sunday, May 19th.
Bring your favorite mug as we will and our one hour walk with afternoon tea and a spoonful of honey from a local beekeeper.
Bring a yoga mat or a blanket - upon completion of the walk about we invite you to take a pause in the day. Sit in the orchard and take in the sounds and or sights of the native bees that are actively pollinating the orchard. As an active part of farm life, we make sure to take such moments and appreciate all that mother nature offers to the earth. Join us, actively listening and observing the amazing harmony of bees and the fruit trees.
Deb is a wildlife ecologist with 25 years of experience and a lifelong commitment to wildlife conservation. She has an extensive background in wildlife research and habitat planning and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for all things as an educator and consultant. We are so happy to have her lead this wonderful walk.
