Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm – Maine Alpaca Experience

Home to 38 beautiful Alpacas. We farm tours, educational seminars, mentoring, knitting & spinning events, and shopping in our alpaca gift shop filled with alpaca clothing, gifts and yarn, open farm days, and a wonderful experience with the alpacas!! We have been offering farm tours since 2006. Reservations are recommended but not required. Alpacas are very social, yet shy and enjoy meeting our farm visitors. They are not fond of being touched but very much enjoy the attention of our farm visitors and of course having their pictures taken. You will have an opportunity to meet our entire herd including the beautiful Malawi and our oldest alpaca, Hamilton. As an education center for those wanting to learn more about raising alpacas we have a very experienced staff on hand every day ready to provide tours geared to the interest of the individual or group. Bring along a picnic and enjoy alpaca watching while you sit at our pasture side picnic tables. Enjoy shopping in our on farm gift shop filled with alpaca yarn, clothing and gifts.
