PESTICIDES CONTROL/COOPERATIVE EXTENSION
PESTICIDES APPLICATOR RECERTIFICATION

Kennebec/Penobscot Room
The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Maine Board of Pesticides Control will present three one-hour training sessions.  Licensed pesticide applicators and dealers may attend sessions to earn credits towards recertification.  One credit will be allowed for attendance for the entire hour of each topic.   (3 credits available)

Maine Alpaca Association presents: Alpaca Husbandry and Health Management.  The alpaca has a reputation of being a healthy and resilient animal. Managing your herd requires basic but careful practices. Hear a Maine veterinarian and one of Maine’s longest-running alpaca breeders talk about nutrition, parasite management, daily/monthly herd health, and how some livestock diseases can affect alpacas. This is an important session for people who are interested in raising alpacas. - Cindy Lavan, Chase Tavern Farm.
