| Location | Orrington: Fields Pond Road. From Wilson Street in Brewer going East, turn right at McDonalds onto Green Point Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Wiswell Road. Go 1.6 miles and turn right onto Field's Pond Road. The farm is about one mile on the right. From Holden and points east, go West on Rt 1A. Just past Holden Center, turn left onto Copeland Hill Road. Go 1.1 miles and turn right onto Wiswell Road and then seven-tenths of a mile turn left onto Fields Pond Road. Farm is about a mile on the right. |

| Description of Activities | Open Farm Day will feature farm activity demonstrations, animals and food as visitors have a guided tour of the facility, listen to a storyteller and music. Being restored as a living history farm and museum, the Curran Homestead includes a main house, barn and related buildings overlooking Fields Pond. The Curran Family operated a turn-of-the century subsistence farm whose animals, crops and woodlot provided the family with food, shelter, heat and enough cash to provide the necessities. |
