Maine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March. Most producers participate every year, but the current participants are listed below alphabetically by county. A list sorted by town is also available, or you can go back to the search page.

West Minot Sugarhouse

West Minot: Rt. 119 directly behind the village trading post which is at the intersection of 119 & 124.

Description of Activities:

Pancake breakfast 8-11 am. All you can eat $6.00, children under five $1.00. Maple syrup, candies, cookies, popcorn, fudge, etc.for sale. Horse drawn wagon rides 8 am-2 pm for a fee. Jigs and reels music 1 pm-3 pm. Free.

Smyrna Mills: Take I-95 to exit 286. Go towards Smyrna Mills off exit until you come to stop sign. Take right onto state highway 2-east and go to top of hill. Sugarhouse is located on left after cemetery. 3315 US Route 2.

Description of Activities:

Smell the aroma of maple sap boiling over the wood fired evaporator, guided sugarbush tour at 1pm each day. Sample maple coffee and "sugar" on snow. Maple and honey products for sale plus maple baked beans and maple sundaes served with Houlton Farms Dairy ice cream.

Making pure maple syrup using a 2 X 8 wood evaporator. Pancake breakfast with maple syrup. Baked beans, doughnuts and door prizes. Demonstrations of syrup making process.

Description of Activities:

Meal served: crepes and bacon, baked beans, hot dog, coleslaw. Hot dog and roll for kids. $5.00 adults, $2.00 kids. Door prize drawing of a quart of maple syrup to four winners.

Description of Activities:

Maine Maple Sunday at Maine Gold will feature an Easter egg hunt, the making of maple syrup in our new sugar house, a food brunch similar to our fall open house, and product discounts. The brunch will consist of foods made with maple syrup or maple syrup added as flavoring. Also, our Pancake Café will be open as it is every Sunday.

A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm

Sumner: From Rte 219 in Sumner turn onto Greenwoods Rd. Approx 2 miles turn left onto Black Mtn Rd, about 1 mile on the left.

Description of Activities:

We use our draft horse for gathering sap and demonstratesyrup making using a wood fired evaporator. We have tapped over 400 trees using metal buckets. Free tastes of our extra dark maple syrup. Maple tea & coffee 50 cents a cup; Bake sale with maple recipes. Sheep and angora goats too. Also open March 30th 10-4 and by appointment.
