About Our Farm

Beech Hill Preserve, owned and operated by Coastal Mountains Land Trust, is the site of MOFGA certified organic low-bush blueberries. Harvested annually in late July and early August, the blueberries can be purchased in bulk through a membership based pre-order program or during the harvest by quart from Beech Hill Preserve located on Beech Hill Rd in the town of ROCKPORT. Please note that the above contact information is at the Coastal Mountains Land Trust office in Camden, while the farm is at the Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport. The directions below get you to the farmstand at Beech Hill Preserve open during July and August. During that time please call the seasonal farm phone at 207-975-6981. All other months please use the Camden contact information.

Fresh pack MOFGA certified organic blueberries sold by pre-order 10 pound boxes and farmstand quarts. Honey produced on Beech Hill will also be for sale at the farmstand.

This farm has MOFGA certified organic blueberries. It is part of Beech Hill Preserve with public access trails along farm fields and wooded sections, with nearly 360 degrees of spectacular views including Penobscot Bay, surrounding mountains and a historic sod roofed structure called Beech Nut at the summit of Beech Hill. The Beech Hill Rd. trail passes through the blueberry fields along the Beech Nut Historic District

From the intersection of Rt. 90, head south on Rt. 1 for a 1/3 of a mile and turn right onto Beech Hill Rd. Go 1.5 miles and look for sign for Beech Hill Preserve on left. The blueberry barn and farmstand is in that parking lot. Hours of operation, once the harvest begins in late July and running through the middle of August, will be 11-5 weather permitting (berries harvested daily). Please call the farm phone at 207-593-6981 to check availability.

This is a public access preserve, owned and operated by the Coastal Mountains Land Trust. Parking lots are off of Beech HIll Rd. and Rockville Street in Rockport, ME. The Preserve is open 365 days a year, though the blueberry fields are only open to the public during our annual free-pick event during one weekend in August. Please check our summer newsletter or our website for dates. To see the inside of Beech Nut and learn more about the history of the structure and the surrounding farm and preserve visit during one of our Open Houses every two weeks from May through October.
