Rockland Farmers' Market

Rockland Farmers' Market offers a full spectrum of Maine grown or produced foods. From organic greens, veggies and local fruits to free-range eggs and naturally raised chicken, beef, pork, lamb and goat meat all manner of healthy eating is available in this ideal setting for locovores. Protein is rounded out with award winning goat and sheep's milk hand crafted cheeses from two different dairy vendors. Additionally, breads and pasteries - from hand made artisan versions to old-fashioned Grandma's fruit pies can be found. Pickles, Maine berry jams, maple products and sauces are well represented to finish off the array of home produced goodies. A small number of farm made, hand made crafts can be found including walking sticks, yarns and fleeces and goat's milk soaps. Freshly made Thai food is available. Customers can sit, visit and have a lunch at the picnic tables provided on the green. Two lunch wagons are close by. The granite sea wall, the close up views of the Rockland Breakwater and Lighthouse and the mile long beautiful boardwalk are added reasons to make a day of it at the Rockland Farmers' Market.
