About Fortune Smiles Farmstead, LLC

Fortune Smiles Farmstead is a family owned diversified,grassfed farm, raising Highland Cattle, Dexter Cattle, Jacob Sheep, pastured pork, free range turkeys and chicken along with healthy large eggs from happy chickens. Quality hay, rounds and squares available-harvested from naturally managed fields. This year we have added a hoop house, and we anticipate having a limited supply of vegetables as well as speciality herbs. We firmly believe in the "Know your farmer" and the "Meet your Meat" philosophy. Tours of our farm are available by prior arrangement or by chance. Our farm is adding silkie chickens and asian vegetables and herbs to our offerings this year. Our berry bush, grape vines and fruit tree orchard are a work in progress. Our goal is to provide our customers and visitors with a complete farm food experience. Natural and organic methods used on the farm,application for organic certification is being processed.

Products
Grassfed Highland beef-sold by the half or whole, hides and horns can be made available. Breeding stock available on a limited basis. Grassfed Dexter beef, Half or whole, some breeding stock available. Raw milk will be available from the farm gate in the near future. Grassfed Jacob lamb- half or whole, some breeding stock available-limited, raw wool. Pastured pork- half or whole, wiener pigs available. Free range turkey and chicken available in the early fall and Thanksgiving. Fresh large eggs from free range heritage breed birds. Vegetables and herbs on a limited basis until late fall. Hay- rounds and squares, available from the field during harvest or the barn throughout the year.

Features
Diversified, rotational grazing set up. Heritage breed livestock from closed herds. Our animals are from several generations of livestock raised to grow out well using a grass based system. Rugged camp sites are available. Picnic area for our guets use and relaxation. Visits to the farm are encouraged. Picturesque, inviting rural area that has become a favorite with local photographers.
